Moving Into a New House
Submitted by Najala on 23 December 2009 - 3:19pmWhen you want to move into a house you would like it to be clean and sparkling. But that does not happen; you will find marks and stains all over the house. The sad part is that you have to go search for them and clean them - a very annoying job. The most irritating part of the job is that some of the stains are so stubborn that it takes all you patience and skills to remove them. Sometimes you have to be careful in order to ensure that you are not causing more damage than good trying to remove the stains.
Hiring a Maid Service
Submitted by reginag on 21 November 2009 - 3:41amFast-paced lifestyles, hectic schedules and a lack of free time can lead one to consider hiring a utah maid services to handle critical house cleaning duties. But before picking up the phone to schedule an appointment, it is important to know whom you are letting into your home.
Bonding: Make sure the maid service is bonded for its house cleaning clientèle. Should a theft occur, you need to be protected. Some companies, if they are bonded at all, protect only themselves, not the consumer.

death of the Greenlane community?
Submitted by TheFazz on 28 July 2009 - 10:46amthere is a reason for the attention grabbing title.
over the past months i've read, observed and absorbed dire statements of how very few people get involved in security matters in greenlane. about how less and less people get involved in community matters. about less people saying hello to each other. there are many frustrated posts by volunteer members of this community. the natural consequence is that you're either branded as a solution, or a problem. tough words that i wish we didn't have to resort using.
but this should not be a personal matter.
Neighbours, family and friends are all we have ...

Change of guard
Submitted by yaroq on 26 May 2009 - 8:23amSalam and good day;
Not sure if anyone realised that as of 16th March, a new security company has been mobilised - Delta Force. They did a wonderful job in Ara Damansara. However, this may be due to the owner also lives there. We are willing to give it a try as the previous guards perfomance had started to deteriorate.
The whole replacement process was handled by a handful of residents, comprising only residents of Jalan U8/75 South - Farid (Secretary), Jo (Treasurer), Hisham (Line Leader) and Fahmi (Security).
