Keeping topics relevant to residents of Bukit Jelutong
The establishment of http://bukitjelutong.net was to serve the residents of Bukit Jelutong in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
The idea was that content on this site would be entirely user generated. The rationale is so that (1) no one person is burdened to continuously update the content on this site; (2) we do not need to hire writers to post content. We would open the site up to anybody to post content based on the principles below:
- relevance to residents
- builds the community
- adds value to the community
APOLOGIES: content lost during upgrade
dear greenlaners.
today (friday 25th Sep 2009) i upgraded the greenlane community site to the latest version of the site management system.
however, in the process of upgrading i made a critical error that resulted in the loss of content posted between mid night last night (thursday 24th night / friday 25th morning) and noon 25th sep today.
i won't bore you with the details, suffice to say that i screwed up.
i therefore ask for major forgiveness to those people who wrote long posts this morning. i am truly truly sorry. this won't happen again and i shall be more careful in site administration matters.
pls do give feedback on this thread if there are any issues with the upgraded site. thanks for your understanding.

Education portal for bukit jelutong residents

in line with the establishment of bukitjelutong.net, i have now setup a new site for bukit jelutong residents specifically to provide a focal point on education matters in and around bukit jelutong. i have kept it broad enough to allow for discussions on formal, extra-curricular, behavioural and tuition education for our children and us (adult learning included).
the address is http://education.bukitjelutong.net/
similar to this site, the education portal will be entirely based on content provided by members and residents. so please actively participate.

We hope to build a stronger community by providing a relevant platform for all residents of Bukit Jelutong but with a few satellite sites (such as education) dealing with specific interests relating to Bukit Jelutong.

Just receive news that a break in has happen in Jalan Ubin last night. Not much infor on this but heard 3 indons involve in this attacked and with Parang...More less the same method happened in our area few days ago...please take note and stay alert....

Expiry of Defect Liability Period - 17th Oct 2007
Received this info from Guthrie;
As per Sale & Purchase agreement, the Defect Liability Period will start from the Vacant Possession date of 16th April 2006.
I always thought the clock starts ticking from the keys handover date. Can someone advise on this?
However, Guthrie will still attend to the recurring defects.
